The Mordecai Community includes several downtown Raleigh neighborhoods, including Mordecai, Oakdale, Pilot Mill, and East Mordecai.
Meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month, September-June, at 5:30 OR 7:30 PM
Agendas/minutes/links are emailed in our newsletter.
Meet your neighbors at one of our social events like the holiday social, annual picnic, national night out, and more.
The MCAC has multiple communication channels available to residents regarding neighborhoods, parks, zoning, crime, local businesses and other community announcements.

The Mordecai CAC kept going after our February 2020 separation from the City of Raleigh CAC structure. We reorganized and we have a new name, the Mordecai Community Action Coalition. We are still an active member of the RCAC organization, too.

The Mordecai CAC is the Mordecai Community Action Coalition. We are a coalition of multiple neighborhoods working together to provide ways for citizens to share information, meet each other, and take action in our community. Neighborhoods include: Pilot Mill, Oakdale, Mordecai, East Mordecai, North Person/Blount, Cotton Mill, Capitol Park, and 1/2 of Oakwood.

The Person Street Partnership was created to build momentum for our MCAC community business district along North Person Street.
